IMG20170721080812.jpgMoonwalk National High School (formerly known as Dr. Arcadio Santos National High School – Moonwalk Annex), an institution of Secondary Education was conceived under the administration of Honorable Joey Marquez who offered the site at Daang Batang Street, San Agustin Village, Moonwalk, Paranaque City on July 21, 2003 under CTC No. 12809 and 12820 with 2, 000 sq.m more or less as issued by the Register of Deeds of Paranaque City.

The change of administration under the leadership of Honorable Mayor Florencio M. Bernabe realized the dream and pursued the initial phase of the construction of the school in 2004.  In 2005 the building was partially completed and opened with 24 classrooms catering to  1,735 students under the supervision of Dr. Gregorio T. Capiral together with four (4) National Teachers, twenty-four (24) Local School Board (LSB) teachers and five (5) non-teaching staff to handle the operation.  These people worked together to achieve the Mission, Vision, and Thrust of the School. From then on, an increase of enrollment was projected every year considering that there are three (3) elementary school feeders situated near the school namely San Agustin Elementary School, Col. E. de Leon Elementary School, and F. Serrano Elementary School.

On June 5, 2007, through the amendment of City Ordinance No.  07-04, Dr. Arcadio Santos National High School – Moonwalk Annex was renamed   MOONWALK NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL and shall be declared as a fully independent City Public School.

On March 31, 2010, Hon. Roilo S. Golez, Congressman of District II, sponsored the Independence of the school and was approved by virtue of Republic Act No. 10065. It is now known as MOONWALK NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

As we are looking forward with the realms of our independence, the school continuously served the community, offering free secondary education through the successions of School Heads.
